September Breaks
Unless you are travelling in the first week of September, generally things have quietened off after the school holidays. This also makes it a popular time for families without children to travel so it can still be pricier than other times of year. We recommend discovering the bazaars and minarets of Istanbul after the tourist rush or heading to the still guaranteed sunshine in exotic Morocco – Marrakech for the history and the shopping and Agadir and Essaouria for the beaches.
For something a little different, why not head to Munich for the Oktoberfest festival (last two weeks of the month) or head to Bordeaux for the wine trail?
